Due to the nature of the stone, each piece is uniquely different from the next. This statement ring is specially designed to mold comfortably on the hand when worn on the middle finger. The central brick sits slightly higher and a gentle arch on the underside of the two outer bricks reflect the curve of the hand. This ring is currently available in size 7.5.

New York City duo Lisa Simpson and Remo Carbone created Urban Boulder to celebrate wearable art inspired by combining the Australian outback with the urban landscape of city streets. Their pieces feature geometric designs using boulder opals set in sleek sterling silver. The boulder opal is classified in the same category as diamonds and comprises only a tiny fraction of the amount of opal mined across the world. These precious stones are formed within boulders and sourced from mines in in the outback of north Queensland. No two stones are exactly alike, giving each piece of jewelry a special one of a kind quality. The partnership between Lisa, a British graphic designer, and Australian-born Remo, whose family has been in the opal industry for 25 years gives them a special perspective on both the design and materials.
